Dennis and Caroline,
We just got back from the first Triple Tree IMAC Classic. It was a
great event that had wonderful weather all weekend. The contest
officials
continued Triple Tree's reputation for southern hospitality, including a
steak cookout Friday night and catered BBQ Saturday night.
Hopefully this
will start a tradition.
Three Carden 40% Extra 330s made their competition debuts at the
event, and made quite a showing with all three bringing home hardware...
Nick Foster placed 1st in Sportsman, Randy Weavil placed 1st in
Advanced, and
I took home 2nd in Unlimited with the new Extra in my first Unlimited
contest.
Many people commented on how well all three Extras presented during
manoeuvres, and how it seems to be the "ultimate package",
excellent at
sequence and freestyle flying alike.
