Dear flying buddies,

It is with great heartache that I must announce that the Don Lowe Masters has been cancelled for this year

Many factors contributed to this tough decision.

As we all know this will be the anniversary of the September 11th tragedy.  The Masters was scheduled this year during this anniversary week.

This is also a TOC year.

For these two important reasons, and weighing all factors a  decision had to be made.

It broke our hearts, but we feel it was the right thing to do.

Please accept our apologies for any inconveniences this will cause.

I must thank all who gave of their time and talents to make this year a success, and I humbly ask for your same dedication for next year.

As always, Dennis and Caroline need a big thanks for supporting EVERYTHING we do at Triple Tree.  As the Carden website is an institution in Giant Scale Aerobatics, I knew that this announcement would reach the majority of pilots and spectators who had planned to make it to our shindig.

I must let everyone know one thing.

The Don Lowe Masters WILL continue next year and WILL be a meet we will improve every year in the future! Those who know me know that I am, above all, an eternal optimist.

As such,  how 'bout some good  news?

This weekend, Aug.10th and 11th  will be our first IMAC meet!!  Please visit the Joe Nall website for details on this contest.

Seems such a shame to have only a couple of events a year at our beloved Triple Tree.

I am having conversations with IMAC officials and will hopefully have an announcement soon that will be REALLY COOL !!!

We at Triple Tree are committed to supporting modeling in general and are proud of what's going on with Precision Aerobatics. Fred and Rob are doing great things for our cause!

Speaking of IMAC, my 40% Carden Edge is nearly ready for flight. You guys now flying junior-woodchuck-tadpole-pre-novice-beginner-first time pilot-stone thumbs-buddy box required division had better watch out!!!  I'm joining in the fun!

Again, from all of us at the Confederate Air Farce,  we are truly sorry about the sad news of the Masters cancellation for this year.

Thanks to all those who worked so hard on this year's meet.  And, a special thanks to Dennis and Caroline for supporting events we have at Triple Tree. I appreciate your time, your energy, and your commitment to customers (like myself!) and most importantly I appreciate  your friendship.

At Triple Tree we all encourage our friends to make this hobby a bit more special, TEACH A KID TO FLY!

God Bless America
